Colitron

Description

• Colitron is an integrated formula which inhibits the growth of pathogenic bacteria such as E. coli and Salmonella leading to reduction of their colonization in the intestines of large ruminant animals, and consequently elimination of their harmful effects on meat and milk production
• Colitron prevents damage of the intestinal mucosa caused by pathogenic bacteria such as E. coli and Salmonella, as E. coli and Salmonella attach to the intestinal epithelium and colonize the intestines causing inflammation of the intestinal epithelial tissue in large ruminant animals
• Colitron has a mechanism of action against pathogenic bacteria such as E. coli and Salmonella in the intestines of large ruminant animals which depends on reduction of the intestinal pH which inhibits the growth of E. coli and Salmonella, as the growth and morphology of E. coli and Salmonella are influenced by the pH in the intestines. This mechanism influences the growth of E. coli and Salmonella by acidifying the bacterial cells, which will consume a great amount of energy to maintain the intracellular pH homeostasis which results in slower growth of E. coli and Salmonella
• Colitron stimulates the growth of beneficial non-pathogenic intestinal bacteria, improving their function and decreasing growth of pathogenic bacteria which leads to a positive effect on gut performance, and consequently promoting the feed efficiency, feed conversion ratio and growth
• Colitron supports the immune system of large ruminant animals, as it increases weight of different organs which are involved in the immune system leading to a more integrated immune response in large ruminant animals against pathogenic bacteria such as E. coli and Salmonella
