Description
- Vitrostil is an important product which eliminates E. coli and Salmonella, and also prevents their colonization in the intestines of large ruminants leading to prevention of meat and milk shortage due to the infection
- Vitrostil significantly increases the permeability of cell wall of both E. coli and Salmonella which impair proper transport through the plasma membrane resulting in cell death, as it reacts with the thiol groups of proteins present on the cell surface of gram negative bacteria such as E. coli and Salmonella which are responsible for the transport of nutrients, it inactivates these proteins, decreasing the membrane permeability and eventually causing the cellular death of E. coli and Salmonella
- Vitrostil has an anti-bacterial effect which kills E. coli and Salmonella without the risk of developing bacterial resistance through penetration inside the bacterial cell and causing cell damage by interacting with phosphorus and sulfur containing compounds like DNA
- Vitrostil promotes the beneficial bacterial growth in the intestines which decreases the growth of E. coli and Salmonella in the intestinal cavity leading to reduction of impaired feed conversion, growth and milk production in herds of beef and dairy cattle
- Vitrostil prevents the attachment of E. coli and Salmonella to the intestinal wall, and also reduces colonization in the intestines which leads to prevention of intestinal damage caused by E. coli and Salmonella due to inflammatory process and its harmful consequences
