Description

  • Fibrovin is a strong chemical and biological toxin binder that protects herds of livestock against all types of mycotoxins in the farm leading to reduction of their harmful symptoms on production
  • Fibrovin lowers PH of feed and PH of animal gut due to detoxification of AFB1 which is involved in the formation of a β-keto acid structure (catalyzed by the acidic medium), followed by hydrolysis of the lactone ring, yielding aflatoxin D1 (AFD1), derived from decarboxylation of the lactone ring-opened form AFB1, which is 450 times less mutagenic than AFB1 and presents an 18-fold toxicity decrease
  • Fibrovin prevents deleterious effects of mycotoxins on animal performance by enhancing function of the intestinal mucosa barrier that inhibits toxins from entering the systemic blood circulation
  • Fibrovin is effective in degradation of ochratoxin A, as it produces non-toxic products phenylalanine and ochratoxin α by hydrolyzing the amide bond of ochratoxin A (OTA) and also aromatic rings in its chemical structure such as “dicoumarol-phenylalanine”
  • Fibrovin has an effective role in destruction of vomitoxin as it has the ability to degrade vomitoxin (deoxynivalenol “DON”) to produce a novel intermediate, 3-epi-DON. 3-epi-DON is an epimer of DON, which is different from DON in the stereochemistry at the 3-OH group and the metabolite 3-epi-DON was proved to be less toxic than DON
  • Fibrovin strongly detoxifies zearalenone, as it degrades the toxin and produces metabolites that are either non-toxic when ingested by animals or less toxic than the parent toxin molecule that alleviate its effect on feed intake, immunity and milk yield of large ruminant animals
