Description
- Zactoril is a balanced formula from biological extracts and probiotics which destroy mycotoxins in the gut of dairy cattle leading to prevention of presence of mycotoxin residues in the milk in dairy cattle
- Zactoril causes cleavage of the lactone ring in aflatoxin M1 which leads to a non-fluorescent compound with a reduced biological activity leading to destruction of aflatoxin M1 and prevention of the presence of aflatoxin M1 residues in the milk of herds of dairy cattle which leads to production of high quality milk that is valid for human consumption, as aflatoxin M1 is classified as a class 1 carcinogen to humans
- Zactoril greatly reduces mycotoxins carry-over, as mycotoxins carry-over denotes the passage of undesired compounds from contaminated feed into food of animal origin, so it is of utmost importance to guarantee safety of the milk
- Zactoril supports de-epoxidation of deoxynivalenol (DON) in the rumen of herds of dairy cattle which greatly reduces the carry-over of deoxynivalenol in the milk, as beneficial bacteria play a large role in de-epoxidation of deoxynivalenol. It can do this by its important role in supporting growth of different types of beneficial bacteria, and consequently inhibition of growth of pathogenic bacteria as a result of the strong competition among beneficial bacterial strains and pathogenic bacteria for binding sites
- Zactoril has high adsorption ability to mycotoxins, as it binds mycotoxins without dissociating in the gastrointestinal tract of the animal, in this way the toxin-adsorbing agent complex passes through the animal, its distribution to the blood and target organs is reduced and eliminated via the feces leading to prevention of presence of mycotoxins in the milk samples
