Provil prevents and controls Clostridium perfringens infections that represents one of the most dangerous bacterial pathogen that can infect intestinal tract of poultry due to its role in disruption of the cell membrane integrity, and consequently elimination of Clostridium perfringens
Provil prevents alteration to intestinal microflora, and damage of the immune system caused by Clostridium perfringens, as the most obvious macroscopic lesions of Clostridium perfringens can be seen in the small intestine, the duodenum, the jejunum and the ileum, and sometimes the cecum that is called necrotic enteritis
Provil has a distinctive ability to bind Clostridial toxins, preventing them from entering the blood circulation without reducing the bioavailability of other nutrients in the body which prevents the negative impact of these toxins on poultry productions
