Hiroquen stimulates the non-specific immunity, inhibits bacterial activity, and also positively modulates gut health through enhancing the level of beneficial bacteria in the gut.
Hiroquen interacts with immune cells, such as macrophages in Peyer’s patches which can be transported to the lymph nodes, spleen, and bone marrow, enhancing the expression of several immune-related genes.
Hiroquen has a great role in enhancing enteric immunity due to the important role of its components in competitive blocking of bacterial lectins which are usually attached to the membrane of intestinal enterocytes making these pathogens unable to attach to the gut lining and they are flushed out from the gastrointestinal tract.
